WELLNESS THROUGH TRANSITION AND LOSS
Mindfulness-informed individual or group support.
I support individuals navigating chronic illness, caregiver stress, end of life, and bereavement with a focus on recognizing the challenges that are present while aiming to enhance quality of life.
MY APPROACH
My intention is offer a space where you can be yourself. Our time together will involve reflecting on your individual experiences and exploring how they shape your thoughts, emotions, and physical responses. We’ll draw on your strengths and the ways you’ve already navigated life, while also introducing new perspectives and practical tools that may support your overall wellbeing.
Choosing courage, making difficult decisions, embracing risk, and feeling a sense of worth can all be challenging. When these choices align with your personal values, however, they can open the door to living more authentically. This often involves letting go of who you feel you should be, in order to become who you truly want to be. I will be alongside you in that process.
As a social worker with a background in palliative care as well as mindfulness informed end-of-life care, I will draw from Somatic Experiencing, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Existential Counselling.
Our sessions will be led by your unique needs and will reflect your goals for self-awareness and growth.
