MY APPROACH

I will support you and your innate strengths as you find your way through the challenges that you face and make meaning of your experience. I believe in the process of “leaning into discomfort," tuning in to notice what you feel, and learning to live with “what is.”

Choosing to be courageous, making difficult decisions, assuming risk, and feeling worthy can all be difficult. When they are in line with your personal values, though, they can also lead to living authentically.

Courage requires telling your story with your whole heart and exercising self-compassion. The result of this authenticity is connection, which is what we all want. It may require letting go of who you think you should be, so that you can be who you want to be. I will walk with you on this journey.

As a social worker with a background in palliative care as well as mindfulness informed end-of-life care, I will draw from Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Structural Family Therapy, and Existential Counselling. Our time together will be led by your unique needs and will reflect your goals for self-awareness and growth.
