When challenges are present within the family, we can work together to adapt and shift emotional experiences. We will use structural family therapy to:
emphasize present times instead of history
focus interactions between family members
rebuild relationships within the family based on new rules that will allow the family to experience greater individual growth and conflict resolution
We will focus on each individual’s capacity for self-determination and highlight their unique abilities. Using this approach, families can rebound from challenges, adapt positively, and grow individually and as a unit.
